# AIScan Lens

> AIScan Lens is a free, private AI content detector. It checks images, video and text for signs of AI generation entirely in the user's browser; files are never uploaded.

Key facts:
- Image detection reads C2PA Content Credentials, IPTC DigitalSourceType (trainedAlgorithmicMedia), Stable Diffusion / ComfyUI PNG parameters and EXIF/XMP software tags, and names the generator when recorded (DALL·E, Firefly, Microsoft Designer, Stable Diffusion, FLUX, Midjourney, etc.).
- Text detection is a stylometric estimate (burstiness, LLM phrasing, vocabulary diversity) and is explicitly labeled as indicative, not proof.
- When no evidence exists, the tool reports "inconclusive" rather than guessing.
- Free, no sign-up, ad-supported.
