How to check if an image was made with Stable Diffusion
- Automatic1111, Forge and similar web UIs save the full generation settings inside PNG files in a text chunk called "parameters".
- Our tool reads that chunk and shows the prompt, steps, sampler, CFG scale, seed and checkpoint model name.
- This works like the "PNG Info" tab in Automatic1111, but online and without installing anything.
Visual signs of Stable Diffusion content
Local models vary widely in style, so metadata is far more reliable than visual inspection for Stable Diffusion images.
Visual clues are never conclusive on their own. Combine them with a metadata check and a reverse image search. See our full guide: how to tell if an image is AI-generated.
Stable Diffusion detector FAQ
How do I see the prompt of a Stable Diffusion image?
Drop the original PNG into the tool. If it was saved by Automatic1111 or Forge, the prompt and settings are shown in the evidence list.
Why is there no data in my JPG?
Most UIs only write parameters into PNG files. Converting to JPG or WebP usually removes them.
